Woven womb belt

Womb belt ~ a cloth that holds intention.
The Womb is one of our greatest mysteries, a holy space that connects all.

The way of honouring this place in the body has been alive in global culture for many thousands of years. The lower belly has been revered as sacred.  

Woven out of wool from numerous different origins. Wild sheep from the Pyrenees, sheep living on the Tibetan plateau and lambs roaming freely in the Scottish highlands. I used tussah silk, linen and hemp too.
A big part of the wool I spun and dyed myself.
