Wooden spoons

Every day I eat with a different spoon.
They were all made by my hands during my travels through various countries - different types of wood.

It feels a bit like playing a game that's about getting to know each other. Me, and my branches. To surrender myself to choices you can not completely control, to feel her wishes, to have to let go of my own and find them back again, in a renewed way. These kinds of collaborations I like the best. On days when I'm too eager to follow my own desires and plans, and less open to the plans of my branches, my spoons usually don't emerge from the process intact. But, I love to play lovingly and balanced with them, giving their wishes as much space as my own. The more cheeky and eccentric (crooked) they are, the more joy I experience.
